Newly opened chinese buffet style restaurant located in a prime position in the town, with stunning views from the open terrace over the lake and golf course.
The restaurant can be found between the town centre and the Woodhouse Golf Clubhouse. It has indoor seating and also tables on the terrace outside overlooking the lake.
The Price for the buffet is 22.99 euros for an adult and 10.99 euros for children under 10. Drinks not included. The restaurant is open 6.00pm to midnight.
Having visited the restaurant now I can say it was great, we sat outside as a lovely evening. The staff are fantastic and if it is your first visit they will help you and explain what is on offer etc.
Basically there is:
a fresh fruit, salad and sushi section
a starter section which has a selection of chinese starters like spring rolls, parcels & wontons, calamari, prawns, wedges, chips, nuggets for children and also 2 hot starters vegetable and chicken in sauces. There is also prawn crackers and a selection of dipping sauces to chose from.
a mains station where you can either fill a plate with choices from this section and take it to the staff at the Wok station and they will cook it with the sauce of your choice or alternatively, there was two ready made choices next to it, Beef in Oyster sauce and sweet & sour chicken with battered chicken separate. All the usual accompaniments like rice, fried rice, noodles are available too.
a dessert station with a selection of pots of cheesecake, tiramisu or profiteroles and squirty cream.
The food was delicious and the staff will remove your plates after each visit to the buffet so you can go back as often as you would like and get a new clean plate.
